A quiet little garden located in the space between spaces.

A combination of botanical garden and meeting room, the Common Ground is the safest resting place on the island. Violence is not permitted in outposts by way of social contract, but in the Common Ground the laws of reality themselves bend towards pacifism. Weapons go missing. Fists fly in the wrong direction. And the flowers blip in and out of existence whenever someone tries to pick them - to the annoyance of florists everywhere.

Getting to the Common Ground is easy - just walk in from any Outpost. Just keep in mind the Ground is not a shortcut, so you can only go out the same way you came in. Or, if you find yourself lost in the jungle, squeeze a Witchbloom Seedpod to be transported there instantly. This has the added effect of letting you choose which outpost you exit to. And it even works during a fight!

The Common Ground is a perfect place to meet other contestants, thanks to its ease of access. While you're there, why not check out one of the attractions?

• Gifting Station: Send gifts to your friends, enemies, lovers, whatever. Some items, like mementos, can be sent free of charge.
• The Kissing Booth: Tip the attendant 25 req for a smooch, a pep talk, and some free stamina. The volunteers aren't picky about things like “charm” or “gender”, so follow your heart.
• The Pinata: Swat the Pinata twice a day for a chance at tasty, tasty candy!¹⁾ If you're extra lucky, there might be a cigarette in there. Just be careful not to hurt yourself.
• Just Cake: No death. That's his cousin. Birthdays aren't celebrated on the island,²⁾ but Rookdays (the day a contestant arrived on the island) are! Send cake to your friends in celebration, or find out your own Rookday by chatting with the Joker.
