**Description:** At the edge of the swampy shore, a long wooden dock extends way out over the water --- so far, in fact, that the other end of it is hidden in the mists and fogs that frequent this edge of the lake. There might, just //might//, under certain conditions, be a yellowish glow visible way out there in the mist. 

This place is designed to present the illusion that it extends out and gives access to [[places:player:abandoned_houseboat|An Abandoned Houseboat]] on the map square to the immediate south.
