 The Shiny New Year Calendars are, as the name suggests, shiny and new. They'll always be shiny and new, even when they're a decade old, and if you think about it too hard while holding one you'll wind up in a shiny [[gameplay:concepts:newday|New Day]] before you know it.
 You can't read a Shiny New Calendar from your matte old bed, so you won't get the shiny new stamina benefits of furniture for using one. Just the regular benefits of eating right and throwing money at the donation box. Each calendar can be used once per real-world week, so as always, check the amount of time left in the current New Day before use. Time travel responsibly.
